Dispatches from Italy: Day 2

February 11, 2012

Day two in Turin packed a punch.  We hit the ground running, and fortunately my jet leg hit the bricks.  The docket included a visit to two companies, each with a recent centennial celebration and a staple of Italy.  Our first stop was with one of Italy’s oldest footwear manufactures, where we discussed the brand’s history received a tour of their offices.  Later, we traveled just over an hour towards the Italian/French border to meet one of the world’s leading automobile designers.  Literally in the middle of no where, this place felt like less like a design firm and more like NASA.  And of course, no day is complete without a round-up of steezy old dudes roaming the streets.
