The New York Times has a great article in today’s paper about the rise in people using bicycles  as a consistent mode of transportation, and how the Dutch are the best model for riding a bike all the time, regardless of attire.  Having lived in Amsterdam for a short time, this article is hits all the right notes and makes me hopeful that everyday bicycling will reemerge as the preferred method of transportation.  For those of us who already ride on the regular, this is all old news, and we’ve been on point with riding everywhere for sometime, but nonetheless, I’m confident articles and exposure such as this will strengthen the bicycle community.  Check out the full article here.
