Rothko

March 8, 2009

Definitely one of my absolute favorite artists, Mark Rothko, a Latvian born American artist, who rejected any type of classification of his works.  Rothko, held a studio on 69th street where he created his well known number series.  Check out some more images of Rothko and a few of his pieces.
