Seil Marschall

“We still make the quality worn by our grandfathers.”

Seil Marschall is a German, family owned, outdoor goods manufacturer, who has been honing their craft since 1896.  Made from some of the finest quality fabrics, and nearly all by hand, they claim, “Our best machines are still our hands”.

The Canoe Day Pack (my latest obsession) is made from the same canvas that once topped Willys Jeeps during WWII.  This waterproof canvas, along with leather straps and brass buckles, makes this Day Pack a dead serious piece of luggage that’s guaranteed to last long enough to find its way into the hands of your next of kin.

Just one member of the Seil Marschall family, they also produce clothing, footwear, and fishing equipment, all worth a peek.  Check out their site for the full details and availability.

Nice find. I might like it more than the Duluth packs. Not usually a fan of external branding but when it’s done well I really like it, as is the case here.
